June brought the sun and some great days of airsoft in Humboldt. We look to follow that up in July with two more events. The 24th of July is another full moon. We will take full advantage with an all night tracer event. Login to the Roll Call area of the forums and post your attendance status. See you on the battlefield.

June SITREP

Major Chronic’s Combat Campout 2010 was an outstanding success! A big thank you goes out to everyone that made it possible. Special thanks go out to our event sponsors Airsoft Extreme and AirsoftGI for providing the raffle prizes. The winners of the target competitions got to walk home with over $400 in prizes. All the competitors had a great attitude and really gave it their all. We will surely hold another competition someday soon. The MC3 Gallery is currently filling up with event photos and video. We transition into summer with two events in June. Log into Roll Call and post your status. See you on the battlefield.

May SITREP

This month is going to be one for the record books. We have two events in May and both events are at our Fieldbrook field. For those of you that have yet to experience this we host MilSim style scenarios exclusively at this field unlike our game style scenarios in Eureka. The end of the month will bring one of our special events, the 3rd Major Chronic’s Combat Campout, on the 28-29th. This overnight event will be during a full moon to boot! HAL will host a BBQ at the field and a series of tracer fire night games on Friday. On Saturday there will be a pistol and rifle target competition for prizes and a special themed scenario for the end of the day. Fun will be had by all and a few skilled individuals will go home with something to enhance their Airsoft collection. See you on the battlefield.

April SITREP

We are less than two months away from the 2010 Major Chronic's Combat Campout and the group is looking to make the most of it. We start off this month back in Eureka for a somewhat wet Saturday. April will see the return to the Fieldbrook hedgerow field and all that it offers. Our last work day out there provided some much needed path making and the field is ready for battle once again. Keep an eye on the Roll Call area for updates and the MC3 registration. See you on the battlefield.

March SITREP

The winter rain is starting to let up on us and the new recruits are beginning to come out in droves. We always like to see new blood coming to our events. Last month's Ball and Chain event was a huge success! We appreciate all of the effort the women of HAL put forth on the field. We hope to see many of you back again sometime soon. There are two events and a field work day scheduled this month. We need to a bit more path clearing in Fieldbrook to complete the hedgerow field. We are looking to start April off with a return to the scenario styles and variety that our Fieldbrook events bring. See you on the battlefield.

December SITREP

For those of you that want to end the year properly with some good shooting and good friends. We will be at the Eureka Field to close out the 2009 season. It has been a long year and we have a lot to be proud of and thankful for. Thanks to the hard work and support of the members of our group we have had some really great events this year with TONS of photos and video to show for it. Thanks to Shifte we now have access to a truly amazing field. Thanks to many of our members we have been able to shape that property into something that is really unique and challenging. Our Sergeants have really been able to help the HAL Council manage the larger field and more complex events that we are now presenting across the board. We had two league training days that really set the stage for much more and our skills on the field have improved due to the new focus that our group has. We all really have grown and will see much more in the future. We had our 4th, 5th and 6th teams form up and begin to really become forces on the field. I have been very pleased with the group as the year has progressed and I hope you all are as eager to shoot for even more in 2010. See you on the battlefield.

October SITREP

The new Fieldbrook property has shown us the potential that we were hoping for. We have been able to transition our scenario style for that property to match the increase in size and variation of playable area. We will continue to host events at our Eureka field with the faster scenarios we have posted in the forums. These shorter games will continue to fill our days in Eureka while our multiple tiered scenarios will be for Fieldbrook only. We have three events planned for October. Our first two will be in Eureka with the final event in Fieldbrook. As luck would have it we will get to have an event on Halloween this year! See you on the battlefield.

September SITREP

August was a busy month for HAL. Only two events bookending the month but all the work days for the past few months, especially the two in August, have finally paid off. We have completed enough of our Fieldbrook property to start hosting events on one of the fields. We are going to have a bit of a scheduling mix in the beginning of September. We will be out at the Fieldbrook property on Saturday the 5th for a light work day. We will come back the next day, Sunday the 6th, for a full day of airsoft. We will return to Eureka for the event on the 19th. See you on the battlefield.

August SITREP

July was a very productive month for HAL. Along with two events and a T3 training day we had two field work days. We now have really got a hold on what we can expect from the new Fieldbrook property. We have our work cut out for us but with the dedicated members that we currently have we should have a safe, playable area by the end of August. Currently we will have three scheduled events in August. We may switch the event on the 15th to a work day so that our event on the 29th, in Fieldbrook, will be all that it can be. See you on the battlefield.
