Firstly, playing against you Reaper, and that GunslingerKid was fun.

Secondly, anyone who wants to play, my gamertag is "Recon 402".

Maybe at some point we can set up a large private match with just us HAL or ERA guys.

Excuses, excuses. I almost got behind you via shortcut (Not so short) and frag you if Gunslinger hadn't shot me.

Sounds like another excuse to me. The only reasons people complain about "camping" is either they are too impatient or can sense their doom at hand.
In real life charging usually gets you killed.

Sounds like a super fancy way to say 'camping'.

But I gotta agree with Hern.

"Camping" is a perfectly acceptable tactic which can be used either to great success or detriment to a given objective. I don't think that anyone on the entrenched side of a fight thinks that it would be better to rush out from an advantaged position to "fight fair" in any combat situation, game or otherwise.

Which means that either the campers have a spot they know they need to defend or no one knows where the op4 actually is and are hoping that they'll make the move. Either way, when both sides hunker down outside of contact, the game comes to a grinding halt. Which is when camping is definitely a detrimental strategy.

One of the many reasons I like the "Death from Above" Scenario. One team is obligated to set the tempo of the game. Also time limits tend to help, but that usually transpires into the grinding halt lasting until the last 2 minutes-ish when things need to happen or the game is a wash.
