A scenario for Fieldbrook. Have the ref sit near the bridge with a timer and have the two teams work their way as quickly as possible to the metal bridge. With the ref keeping track of the timer, say one minute, in order for a team to score a point, they must have at minimum one player on the bridge at all times. Team with most minute points after a thirty minute round, wins.

Any ideas or complaints?

I like the idea of a simple premise that can be tweaked here and there for unique game-play. For instance, that scenario With only pistols, or SMG's would be fun as heck. Sounds like a good warm up game to me 2 Thumbs Up

Considering the risk of losing some of our players to the wandering woods, I'd suggest two Refs for this scenario - one to manage the game as usual and one to monitor the bridge and keep score. It's not easy as Ref to stay in one place and still know what is going on out on the field. If there are any problems that remove that single Ref off the bridge, we don't want to stop the game entirely because the Ref can't stay to keep score. Hence, I don't think it is wise to fully dedicate the Ref to one single location with a single task of timing players and counting  points. There's much more the Ref needs to manage in a single game. We could add a time keeper/score keeper to the game to ensure play goes well rather than add to the Ref duties.

How about this.

http://www.thechessstore.com/c=4zYYROdUuCzu5Uk7VuIfmrBMZ/product/CZ02SK/Saitek_Competition_Game_Clock.html

Digital Chess Timer. The Timer is placed mid bridge and players must activate it for their side once they have control of the bridge or are feeling brave enough to run into the open to tap it. For ruggedness and durability a simple wooden housing could be built with extended buttons so the timer is completely encased but still usable. Maybe a lexan/plexi window to verify the timer is working.

Removes the need for a ref at the bridge 100% for the purpose of time keeper and keeps scoring easy with "Most Clock Time" as winner.

Update possibility:

We can use a power tower for the timer.
