Enjoyable story line and old timey style surroundings make this one of my favorite game series in a long time.  Like the prequel of the same name, Bioshock 2 takes place in the underwater city of Rapture where 50's/60's style furnishings and technology meet up with a genetic splicing community.  My love for this game stems back to playing it's long time predecessors "System Shock" and System Shock 2".  One of the greatest things about both the System Shock and Bioshock games is picking up on the clues and hints in the voice logs you find to give you a very complete story from many different perspectives.  Unfortunately one of the things lost from System Shock 2 that has not returned in either of the Bioshock games was the co-op version of the game.  It created a very unique gaming experience where the two players could diversify their skills to cover abilities that the other player did not have.

In any case, Bioshock 2 is a great story driven FPS.  Admittedly I am not too far into the game, but so far it embodies the same gameplay of Bioshock one from the perspective of a rouge Big Daddy (heavily armored creature in a heavy diving suit).  More time is spent using clever stategies to kill your foes than most flat out first person shooters.  So if you enjoy more adrenaline based fast action, Bioshock 2 might not be for you.  In any case, it is a solid game with decent graphics and a great storyline.
