First you gotta put on the pants... Then you gotta be like alright looky here women!  Smile
No just kidding... you have to ask very nicely and explain how awesome it is maybe she will go for it  2 Thumbs Up
Or you could always use girls mind games against them like "oh i thought you were more outgoing"  Laugh out loud

I guess I was lucky in being introduced and was given a lot of options and a group of close friends to try it out with. Northern Lights decided it was time to take up airsoft as a hobby, something he had played with as a kid, and at 17 got his first GBB confiscated by Hong Kong airport security because he tried to transport it with green gas on the plane ride home.

He ordered an MP5 in September 02 and got WasabiOne and Phat Tooth hooked one day at work. By December he ordered a TM M4, MP5K, Spas 12 Shotgun, G3SG1, AK47 and an AK74 Beta Spetz for a New Years trip to the cabin - Lichen can attest to this one. We had eight people including me and two other girlfriends and we all played out at the snow with snow cammo. There have always been women involved and the big thing is to let her either play with you if she wants to stay with you and is a little intimidated or let her oppose you and whoop your ass a little.

My biggest issue has always been having a gun that fit me - same thing as each one of you. Having a few options really made a difference and I could choose for myself the kind of gun and style of play that fit my personality. I instantly gravitated to the AK74 Beta Spetz when he thought I'd totally love the MP5 or the MP5K. I hated M4s for the longest time but have warmed up to them since training with one every once in a while so it will make a BIG difference what she likes in a gun and what position she may play. My Spetz was perfectly fine stock for a couple years until it started to show its age.  I finally ok'd the upgrades Lights had been planning, got a gnarly AEG in return which lasted me til 2009.

Girly guns... M4A1, P90, G36, AKs... anything that has an adjustable or folding stock, light up front, maybe a bullpup... my AK is heavy as  Censored but I like it that way. Idk if other ladies are down for a 5 hour bi/tricep workout  Hands Up. Have her hold as many different kinds as she can because every grip is different - tell her it's like trying on shoes. I cannot stand holding most of Northern Lights' AEGs because the fingered grip is sized so differently. But when I go out of town, I always look for an AEX just to feel and fire off what looks appealing.  Laugh out loud

crystal uses a g36c, good choice for the girls because they are light and only come in plastic bodies however it does not have an adjustable stock which is the big down side

mp5's are also good i have three of those for rentals or to buy if you want to go that way

I think crystals biggest hurdle was finding a place to belong in battle, she found fire fights to be boring because she never hit anyone and she would just die. when i showed her how to be the medic she found her place and got more into it later on thanks to the BCM training courses she now knows how to hold up in a fire fight and she goes to airsoft even with out me!

To me these are the biggest problems for girls getting into airsoft 1) comfortable gear 2) learning to be combat effective

Ya, gear can be a pain when most of the pants are cut for men. Finding XS gloves that let me handle tourniquets has been rough going and the full paintball masks are huge and hard to keep on without a chin strap and tightly adjusting mask. However, sensei masks leave less coverage and WasabiOne lost a potential girlfriend to a painful skin breaking shot from Northern Lights' APS2... oops.  Hands Up (Hence why you'll nevcer see me on the other side of the field from that gun!)

The guy and the idea of her coming to play with her love interest lost points quickly after that so make sure her gear fits as best it can and covers. I wear shin guards, knee pads and elbow pads after many years of being asked if I'm in a "safe" relationship. As long as I can shoot back, I'd consider it safe  Laugh out loud
